Steve joined the Stippich, Selin & Cain as a partner in 2009. Prior to joining the firm Steve was a partner in a mid-sized suburban Milwaukee law firm for eight years and has been in practice since 1999. Steve’s practice is focused on representing injured parties, local units of government, and those with general civil and criminal litigation needs. Steve has extensive courtroom experience in state and local courts having tried many civil and criminal jury trials.
Steve’s personal approach to delivering legal services melds with Stippich, Selin & Cain’s passion for delivering high level legal services with the personal and direct approach only a small law firm can offer. Steve has a track record of delivering client successes in personal injury, civil litigation and criminal litigation matters. In addition to his courtroom experience, Steve has extensive experience working with local units of government with liquor licensing, zoning, and general municipal law.
Steve, his wife, and two sons reside in Cedarburg where he is active in the community. Steve has served as a Board member of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ozaukee, the Ozaukee Volunteer Center and is a past President of the highly respected Cedarburg-Grafton Rotary Club. Steve actively serves the legal community by his efforts as a Board member of the Ozaukee County Criminal Justice Collaborating Council and formerly serving the State Bar of Wisconsin on its Fee Arbitration Panel. Steve was appointed, and currently serves as a Special Investigator for the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s Office of Lawyer Regulation. Steve has been named a Wisconsin Super Lawyers™ “Rising Star” eight times.
Outside of his legal practice Steve enjoys competitive swimming, traveling, fishing, skiing, hunting and projects at his circa 1844 farmhouse. Steve is three time Ironman distance triathlon finisher who now actively seeks less strenuous adventures.
